Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Finance Business Partner in the new Buckinghamshire Council as part of a Finance Business Partner team, playing a key role in supporting the Planning Growth & Sustainability Directorate and the Resources Directorate by delivering accurate and timely financial analysis and advice.
This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity till 31 March 2022.

The Planning, Growth & Sustainability Directorate covers a wide range of specialisms, including Property, Planning and Housing services.
The Resources Directorate covers a wide range of specialisms, including Human Resources, Finance, ICT and Business Operations.
About the role
Fixed Term / Secondment (1 Post in Planning Growth & Sustainability Communities Finance and 1 Post in Resources Finance)
Reporting to the Senior Finance Partner/Management Accountant, you will provide a finance business partnering service to a number of Budget Managers, the Director and the Senior Leadership Team within Property Services or Resources Directorate with a particular focus on ensuring the accuracy of budget, budget monitoring and financial analysis.
About you
This post is currently available for ideally, AAT qualified or finalist of a CCAB recognised body (or equivalent) with experience of working as a finance business partner. Knowledge of local government environment would be advantageous. Good communication skills and a proven ability to work with complex data and spreadsheets is essential. You need to be able to work on your own initiative, as well as within the team and under pressure to achieve tight deadlines.
