Salary: MG6 £41,024 - £61,535

This is a great opportunity to be a key part of a highly motivated, strong performing and friendly finance team.

The post reports to the Head of Corporate Finance & Accounting. 

The key responsibilities include:

To lead, manage and develop all aspects of financial services in relation to the London Borough of Bromley Pension Fund.

Responsible for annual accounting, performance reporting, budget monitoring and day to day operation management of the Fund, including banking and cash-flow management.

Lead on all dealings with external stakeholders such as the Fund Managers, External Auditor and Fund Advisor.

To act as the subject matter expert on Pension Fund accounting, annual reporting, and governance requirements (Annual Report, Funding Strategy, Investment Strategy etc).

Support all activities and developments in relation to the administration of the fund such as McCloud and other regulatory changes.

We are looking for a CCAB qualified accountant or an AAT Accountant with extensive knowledge and experience of Pension Fund accounting. This is a great opportunity to play a significant role in a team with a varied workload and regular senior level exposure.
