Interim Finance Business Partner

Allen Lane are currently working with a local authority to recruit an interim Finance Business Partner to provide specialist finance advice and support to their Adult Social Care directorate. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help to ensure the delivery of a robust and proactive financial planning and reporting to the service.

As such key objectives will include;

• Proactively lead the financial advice and support within the business partnering function to deliver savings and maximise service outcomes for residents
• Identify areas of weak financial management, risks and pressures and work with service areas to improve them
• Ensure financial information is relevant, balanced and is received by decision makers at the appropriate level and in the appropriate form
• Manage and motivate staff through excellent communication, support and development

This Business Partner will ideally be CCAB qualified and must have previous experience providing business partnering support to social care services. The organisation is currently going through a period of change so adaptability and a proactive approach is essential.

Due to the current coronavirus situation it is expected this position will be working remotely. Given the time of the year there may be some flexibility with the start date so can accommodate a notice period.
