Business Analyst – Facilities and Maintenance

- Full Time
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a commercial business owned by a Local Authority as they look to put the customer at the heart of everything that they do.
With a complex operation geared to delivering practical support to thousands of homes in East London, it is very easy to focus on the practicalities of delivery and forget how important it is to create the process around those who need the help and benefit from it most. By assessing the way the organisation delivers across the board and seeing how the processes marry up with each other, the right candidate will be able to start mapping the way the operation works and start recommending how to change it effectively to better support the customer.
You will need good practical BA skills such as:
- The ability to identify theoretical processes and identify how effective they are in practice
- The ability to grasp how changing the priorities of processes can affect how they should be performed
- A good understanding of what is important to a customer, and incorporate that into how a business works
- The ability to run workshops; articulate processes; help build business cases; help write reports
The client will prioritise candidates with some experience of repairs and maintenance and public sector delivery; so you’ll either need good council experience or specifically repairs and maintenance experience to be considered.
The role is likely to run for at least 6 months, and the assignment has been deemed out of scope of IR35, so you will be able to run the assignment through your limited company.
IF you have the business analyst skills and can demonstrate those in your most recent roles; and have exposure to either Local government or specifically the delivery of a repairs and maintenance service then please apply with a resume and covering note today.
