Interim Systems Accountant

CIPFA-Penna are working in conjunction with a South-East based local authority in the search for an Interim Systems Accountant to take ownership for a project aimed at developing financial and management reporting across the council.

Working on projects to develop the use of the council’s current financial systems, the successful individual will identify and address errors and barriers that currently exist and provide feasible, impactful solutions to improve the efficiency of the reporting suite and increase its utilisation across the organisation.

To be considered, you will need to be a qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with examples of success in similar types of role geared around the development of reporting produced by financial systems.
