Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner with strong technical and leadership skills and a commitment to providing excellent financial support to a key Service Department.

Working in the Financial Services Group of the Chief Executive’s Department based at County Hall, West Bridgford, Nottingham, as part of the Financial Management Team, you will lead the team providing high quality financial information and advice to the Children, Young People & Schools (CYPS) Leadership Team, and lead the two teams providing financial advice to the CYPS department and to Nottinghamshire Schools.

You will be CCAB qualified with significant post-qualification experience, and must be able to manage staff & resources to provide an excellent customer focused service to help the department through the current challenging financial climate, and to oversee schools funding arrangements during an ongoing period of change.

The post requires you to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and communicate financial information, guidance, and processes, to multi-disciplinary teams.
