Deputy Finance Director (Deputy Section 151 Officer)

Allen Lane is recruiting an interim Deputy Finance Director (deputy Section 151 Officer) for a unitary local authority in central England.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Resources and Section 151 Officer, you will lead and develop the finance team for an initial period of 6 months. As such, a significant priority is ensuring the effective production of financial statement and subsequent audit.

We are looking for a local government interim with a track record of operating at Section 151 (or deputy) level previously. You must be available to start before the middle of February.

It is anticipated this assignment will run for approximately 6 months and will be based from home throughout.
