Job Details
CIPFA-Penna are delighted to be working with a North East based Local Authority who are looking for an experienced finance professional to provide advice and guidance on aspects of budgetary matters, strategically across a number of business areas. You be a key member of the leadership team, helping it to develop and implement strategy and to resource and deliver the authority’s key objectives and priorities.
Key priorities that you will focus on include;
- Provide financial leadership on the current Enterprise Zone programme - reviewing and updating EZ returns against plans to ensure the strategic position is updated and understood.
- Integrate the approach to strategic cash flow management for funding streams in order to ensure transparency of programme delivery and “cross subsidization”
Ideally you will have extensive experience of Service Planning and Budgeting Experience integrating plans and budgets for complex organisations.
Significant experience of working with Elected Members, and members of the Senior Officers from both within the Authority and with outside agencies at a Local and regional level.
