Cannock Chase and Stafford Borough Councils’ shared Finance service is seeking a qualified Accountant. You will be one of two Chief Accountants working closely together to lead the provision of accountancy services for both Cannock Chase and Stafford Borough Council’s General Fund and HRA Services (including revenue and capital), preparing associated reports to the Leadership Team and Members, preparing the statutory accounts and liaising with the external audit team.

Previous experience of operating in a lead role in budget setting and closure of accounts along with a CIPFA qualification would also be advantageous.
