Interim Pensions Accountant
CIPFA-Penna are delighted to be working with a North West based Local Authority client recruit for an interim Pensions Accountant
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, with Local Government experience who is a self-starter, and can work independently. Responsibilities include;
To manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements for the Pension Fund, ensuring all supporting financial and monitoring records are produced and reconciled in a timely manner. The post-holder will work flexibly to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction and take a pro-active approach to business process improvement.
Manage the processes to accurately maintain and reconcile all Pension Fund receipts, payments, investment records, bank accounts and tax claims, to ensure compliance with all Council and wider statutory reporting requirements.
Our client needs someone who can quickly understand the task required and get things done with minimal guidance. The role will be based remotely for the foreseeable future.
