This Cost/R&D manager leads analysis of COGS and Dev/R&D activities across all businesses in the Honeywell Connected Enterprise SBG. Responsible for developing a framework for managing COGS performance at a detailed level for a wide range of products (software, hardware, services, etc). This position also provides financial partnering/leadership to the engineering/development leadership teams focused on creation of the Forge industrial software platform and vertical specific apps across variety of end markets and customer segments. You will play a key role in optimizing financial performance across the HCE portfolio of products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide detailed insight into financial and operational performance of all products in the HCE portfolio
Partner with the HCE Development/Engineering organization to provide analytics and financial decision support.
Become an expert in the SaaS financial model and the KPIs used to measure success.
Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting costing and profitability across the customer and products dimensions.
Coordinate activities across several GBEs to ensure consistent treatment of Software COGS, R&D and Capitalization/Amortization.
Interface with ERP and other financial systems to ensure accuracy of product/customer level profitability.
Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures including system requirements and internal controls.
YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelors degree in finance/accounting
5 years of finance experience
2 years of experience with SAP
