Interim Project Accountant
CIPFA-Penna are delighted to be working with a Yorkshire based Local Authority client recruit for an interim Project Accountant
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, with Local Government experience who is a self-starter, and can work independently. Responsibilities include;
- Working closely with the Deputy Section 151 officer supporting core business projects
- A team player who can work across multiple projects including housing, capital programs and joint ventures.
- Assisting project team members with capital accounting, funding applications, budget reports and forecasting.
- demonstrate strong leadership ability and a proven track record of success within a project / commercial financial role in local government.
Our client needs someone who can quickly understand the task required and get things done with minimal guidance. The role will be based remotely for the foreseeable future.
Rate: Negotiable – dependant on experience. Duration 2/3 days over a 3-month period initially with possibility of an extension. For further details please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
