SF Recruitment are working with a well-known and exciting automotive brand with offices based in Warwick. The business in question has undergone a sustained period of change with recent investment into a brand new product range, their manufacturing capabilities as well as their testing & tooling facilities.
Our client has created a new role due to significant growth plans that have already started to take place. This role will focus on business partnering, providing insight into the current operations and be part of the front line as the business transforms itself. The Head of Commercial Finance will partner the Sales, Marketing and PR executives driving profitability, control a significant budget to ensure value for money and act as a link to the internal and external frameworks within finance and the wider business. As the company continues to grow, this role will naturally evolve to be ever more encompassing and with greater responsibility to allow the right person a huge amount of scope to improve and develop.
Our client is looking for a proactive and commercially astute finance professional. As Head of Commercial Finance, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Business partner with Sales Director, Marketing Director and PR Director to provide insight, support decision making and assist with maintaining to budgetary targets
- Support month end reporting to ensure appropriate cars margin analysis, global stock balances
- Liaise with national sales companies to ensure appropriate performance management to target
- Support Sales & Marketing with pricing strategy, analysis and operations
- Support the development and maintenance of retail and wholesale funding relationships
- Provide data and analysis to support ongoing dealer management
- Liaise with Program Finance to support introduction of product into market
- Work with business partners to develop targets, quarterly forecasts, budgets and long-term views, as part of overall FP&A input
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ ACMA / ACA) and it is essential that you have significant post qualified experience working within a mid to large sized automotive manufacturing business within a commercially focused role.
