Join this innovative social business as Treasury Accountant and bring technical flair to our treasury management, asset valuation/securitisation, cashflow forecasting and capital structuring.

Raven is a business with a clear social purpose: building homes and changing lives in Surrey and Sussex. We aim to be an outstanding provider of homes, a cornerstone of the community and an innovative employer.

As Treasury Accountant, reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance, you’ll be helping to implement Raven’s corporate finance and treasury strategy and policy. Part of the Finance Business Partnering Team, you’ll support the entire Group through securing funds, reducing treasury risk and managing the security portfolio. You’ll provide specialist technical advice on all matters relating to capital structuring and liquidity management, with responsibility for overseeing cashflow forecasting, working capital and efficient cash management.

With an accounting or treasury qualification, your treasury background will have given you a good knowledge of practices, processes and protocols, plus specialist technical experience that includes capital structuring and liquidity management. We’d also expect experience of statutory accounting and cashflow forecasting, as well as basic property charging/searches knowledge. Excellent Excel skills are essential, with Brixx and SDS Sequel an added advantage.

This is a role for a team player who can show considerable individual initiative. It demands excellent communication skills and a record of building strong relationships with internal and external partners. You should also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively and caring about making things better.

We trust our staff to work as a team and be their best. We offer competitive salaries and benefits, a great pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement, plus support to develop your skills and career.
