CIPFA-Penna are supporting a large, evolving council in search of a Transformation Finance Manager to plan, deliver and lead a high-profile programme of improvement across finance. The assignment will be an interim one for a period of at least 6 months.
This is an exciting and prominent programme – one that is crucial for the improving the council’s control, management, operations, performance and overall success in delivering services within agreed budgets whilst delivering ambitious savings plans.
We are seeking qualified finance professionals with extensive knowledge of leading and delivering complex improvement projects of a similar nature in a local authority environment. You should demonstrate excellent knowledge of financial and management reporting, with a clear idea of ‘what good looks like’. You’ll also be a proven and credible leader with a natural ability to capably address challenges without deviating from your course and end objective. You must also be a fully-qualified accountant holding any of the following: CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
