To meet the challenges ahead we are looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our team.

The principal area of responsibility will be to act as lead financial adviser on HRA issues and HRA accounting, assisting with the production of the Statement of Accounts, providing financial advice and support to a number of services and managing a team providing a full range of accountancy services to a range of General Fund and trading services.

You must be a CCAB qualified accountant or part-qualified / AAT qualified with at least 3 years local government finance experience at a senior level. In addition, experience of HRA accounting within local government finance is desirable.

As well as being an experienced accountant, you must also be an effective team leader with the ability to motivate your team in a changing environment to meet targets, demonstrate continuous improvement and deliver a customer focussed service.
