Reporting directly to the Finance Director - SSC, the Financial Manager will manage the daily finance, accounting, tax, audit, banking and controls of designated manufacturing site/s as part of the finance shared services environment. Job Requirements

  1. Manage the daily activities of the site/s accounting or finance transactions;
  2. Establish and maintain an excellent framework of internal controls, fraud prevention and adherence to the Minimum Control Standards implemented across the region;
  3. Prepare and present financial forecasts, annual budgets and strategic plans;
  4. Provide cost and manufacturing variance analyses to provide insight and improve company performance;
  5. Appraise the company’s financial position and issue reports to region headquarters, and corporate headquarters on the organization’s financial status and growth;
  6. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of the organization's records and financial statements ensuring timely preparation and presentation as required by organizational headquarters and parent company, the Board, regulatory agencies, and for management and guidance of the business;
  7. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization, such as product pricing, cost structure, fixed asset expenditures, new employee benefit programs working closely with the Region Financial Planning & Analysis department;
  8. Analyze operational issues as well as outside general economic, business, or regulatory changes and report their potential impact on the company, including foreign currency impacts and local operational regulation changes;
  9. Ensure the professional development of the site accounting staff and their abilities to operate as a team;
  10. Hold full responsibility and accountability for corporate governance and compliance with government laws as they relate to this position;
  11. Provide effective liaison with Region and Milton Keynes, UK HQ to support corporate requirements and allow for ongoing communication of business and financial conditions;
