The Counter Terrorism (CT) Police Network helps keep the country safe. It collects evidence to thwart terrorist plans and bring perpetrators to justice. As a Deputy Finance Business Partner, you’ll support this critical team so it can perform at its very best. It’s an opportunity to enhance your career and play your part in protecting the UK.
Joining the National Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (NCTPHQ), you’ll be part of our Strategic Finance function. Here, you’ll work closely with the Strategic Finance Business Partner to provide a professional service that helps CT managers to make informed decisions. You’ll help embed a co-ordinated business partnering function for CT Policing, along with supporting the strategic planning process to create national budgets and forecasts ensuring value for money. You’ll lead our Finance Analysts to design and build costing models and produce insightful analysis. This could focus on anything from controlling spend, to identifying areas for improvement.
This is a key role for a CCAB-qualified accountant with relevant experience. Perhaps you’ve worked as a finance business partner before or in an accounting function. Either way, you’ll have excellent negotiating and influencing skills along with knowing how to provide financial analytical support including budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. By building strong working relationships, you’ll help CT professionals to achieve the right results.
Join us, and you’ll have the opportunity to work with a range of people from policing, the security services and the Home Office. You’ll also get to shape the direction of the NCTPHQ and develop your finance skills. With benefits that include a Civil Service pension, there’s every reason to step up and support frontline Counter Terrorism policing.
