Location – York, London or Wakefield

As ICT Financial Support you will ensure that the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is compliant in Managing Public Money and adheres to internal policies. You will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective financial management service on behalf of the award winning Digital Technology Services team (DTS).

 

Working under the direction of the ICT Finance Manager and liaison with Head of DTS ICT Financials and Project Management teams, you will be responsible for the day to day financial management of the Departments ICT commercial agreements, providing a focal point for ICT suppliers.

 

You will assist the budget holders and their teams within DTS. The main purpose of the role is assisting in creation, management and monitoring of departmental and project budgets. Supporting these strategic financial planning processes by analysing expenditures, creation of budgetary reporting and providing guidance to the Budget Managers. Other responsibilities include supervision in budgeting and forecasting as well as taking a lead role in the overall production of the cost centre performance.

 

In your role you will also be required to forge, develop and maintain close working relationships with Finance and Accounts Branch. Experience working in a financially administrative role and excellent financial awareness is essential for this post.
