The Greater London Authority (GLA) is home to the Mayor and London Assembly. The Mayor is responsible for making London a better place for everyone who visits, lives and works in the capital. The London Assembly holds the Mayor to account on behalf of Londoners.
Operating at the heart of London government, this post offers the opportunity to influence across the city and make real changes that affect those living and working in the capital.
As Executive Director, and the statutory Chief Finance Officer for the GLA, you will possess exceptional financial acumen to ensure we use our financial assets to deliver benefits for Londoners. You will also ensure our approach to technology and facilities management are exemplar services that reflect our world class city.
This is a substantial role and we are looking for an exceptional finance professional who enjoys complexity and working in collaboration with senior partners. As well as overseeing the highest standards of treasury management and probity for the GLA itself, you will lead on the strategic development of the consolidated budgets for the GLA Group, which includes the Metropolitan Police Service and Transport for London, which are in excess of £18 billion per annum.
