You will also play a key role in supporting financial aspects of the Payroll function.
In this vital role, you will participate in developing all of the Council’s financial systems, to provide excellent financial information in a cost effective and efficient way, negotiating between users and Information Management to maximize technology and its benefits. In doing so you will need to make extensive use of a range of tools such as Excel VBA macros, Business Objects and Crystal Reports

Our ideal candidate must have in-depth experience of using IT based financial management systems and the use and development of complex spreadsheets and other file formats to produce financial and management information.
We do ask that you are in possession of a Qualified accountant (CCAB) - i.e. CIMA, ICA, ACCA, CIPFA – or part-qualified with extensive experience and able to demonstrate continuing professional development.
