Job Details
CIPFA-Penna are working with a local authority based in the South East of England who are currently seeking an individual to work with them for a period of 3-6 months on a project basis to assist and improve their bank reconciliation process.
You will be responsible for;
1. Bringing the monthly bank reconciliation up to date using existing process notes
2. Revisit and review the process with the aim of refining, improving and making efficiencies
3. Train the team on the revised process so that staff are upskilled and can undertake the bank reconciliation function.
This role requires an individual with strong technical skills and the ability to hit the ground running.
You will have experience working in a local government setting with knowledge and experience of the bank reconciliation process. Previous experience having worked with both efinancials finance system and AIMS income management system would be advantageous but not essential.
Our client will consider 3-5 days a week over a 3-6 month period.
You will be either CCAB qualified or QBE.
