The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) spends £10bn a year delivering crucial public services to a wide range of users, often with complex needs; protecting and advancing the principles of justice. The scale and pace of our work is challenging and requires strong financial leadership to deliver the business changes successfully alongside the day to day running of the Department.

As Director, Finance Business Partnering, you will be responsible for providing excellent business partnering to our corporate services, policy groups, and three executive agencies – the largest of which is the Legal Aid Agency; and you will have oversight of the work of the Office of the Accountant General.

You will have strategic leadership responsibility for the finance business partnering directorate within the Finance Function and will lead on creating excellence in Finance Business Partnering across the Ministry of Justice. You will deliver robust multi-year business and financial plans which allow the business to carry out its operations, aligned with the Department’s overall strategic priorities and financial plans.
