Hours: Flexible hours, Full time & Part time

We are currently recruiting two assistant accountant posts (permanent full time) within the Finance Team at Bromley Council. This is an opportunity to be a key part of a highly motivated, strong performing and friendly finance team.

One of the Assistant Accountant post will support the Chief Executive Department, and the other Assistant Accountant post will support the Environment & Community Services Department. They will report to the Senior Accountants who manages the team.

The post-holder will play a crucial role in the finance function, including undertaking budget monitoring, budget setting and supporting the final accounts process. Candidates must have a strong finance background, be able to work under pressure and be able to deliver results in a fast paced, ever changing environment. The candidate should have relevant experience of working in a finance environment (ideally local government) and preferably be AAT part or fully qualified (or equivalent).
