Due to internal promotion, a new opportunity is available for a Financial Business Leader (Controller) that will partner with Senior Operational Leadership to develop business strategies and guide pivotal decisions. Responsibilities include
- Partner with other Senior Leaders to develop and deploy business strategies; Provide financials and advise to guide business decisions
- Manage all accounting, finance, and controlling functions for $70 – $90 Million business unit that will be experience steady growth
- Supervise accounting and finance staff; coach, mentor, and develop a high-performance team
- Prepare annual financial statements and closing statements in compliance with regulations
- Analyze and approve capital requests
- Work with each department to prepare annual budget and finalize budgets for approval
- Perform monthly financial audits to identify budget overages and find cost-outs
- Work closely with sales teams, analyze data to develop cost, develop business forecasts, etc
- Work with management team to prepare operational reviews
- Manage cost accounting, fixed assets, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliation
- Ensure company is in compliance with all local, state, federal, and global codes as well as corporate policies
- Lead the development of policies and procedures, key point indicators / metrics, and review and hold accountable
Requirements include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field

Experience in manufacturing is an absolute requirement along with a strong cost accounting background
