Interim Group Chief Finance Officer

To help us do that we are looking for talented people to join our team.

We’re looking for an experienced Director of finance with a background in financial management, including evidence of formulating budgets, resolving conflict, and application of rigorous monitoring and control procedures. The ideal candidate should be a strong problem solver, with the ability to exercise sound judgement

I addition to the above, our successful candidate will also have responsibility for

• Undertake the statutory duties of the Combined Authority’s Chief Financial Officer under section 73 (s151) of the Local Government Act 1985
• Lead in providing a comprehensive financial advisory service to the Combined Authority;
• Provide strategic direction to all CA and SYPTE senior managers in order that they formulate and develop effective delivery plans
• Lead on the Treasury and Investment Fund Management, compliance auditing, audit and implementation of treasury management practices
