The Head of Financial Accounting reports to Director of Finance, Commercial and Infrastructure within the CQC directorate of Regulatory, Customer & Corporate Operations (RCCO).

With experience of delivering a robust financial accounting service, the role holder will be expected to develop and implement a financial strategy ensuring that appropriate controls and procedures are in place to provide assurance, compliance and effective management of CQC’s finances.

What are we looking for from you…

We are looking for someone who will bring passion, energy and determination to the role to make it a success. Candidates should be a qualified accountant with a proven track record in a senior financial role. Skilled in the management of complex stakeholder relationships, candidates will have a proactive can-do attitude with the clear ability to inspire, motivate and develop exceptional teams while delivering innovative, quality driven and people focused services.
