Group Accountant

My client is a Local Government organisation who is looking to recruit an ambitious and experienced Finance Professional  into their Health and Social Care team

This role will be responsible for providing financial support and advice to a range of managers in different service areas and commercial schemes in the area

Responsibilities will include:

• Budgeting and forecasting
• Revenue and capital budget monitoring
• Providing support and advice to ad hoc projects
• Closing accountant and associated work streams

It is essential that you are a qualified accountant and that you have good communication skills, the ability to think creatively and have a strong background in financial management

Any experience of working in the NHS or wider health sector would be very useful
