Responsibilities
The client is seeking a committed and ambitious Qualified
Head of Financial Planning & Investments
to fulfil an exciting and varied role within its head office environment.
- Manage and maintain the Housing Associations financial plans, and submissions internally and externally to all appropriate parties (HCA, lenders).
- Analyse, assess and make recommendations relating to financial plan and stress testing to ensure the clients strategies and lender covenants etc. are maintained.
- Assess schemes for a range and mix of developments (social, private, retirement etc.) and offer financial input into development led approval papers for Executive Board consideration.
- Maintain validity and accuracy of business model software.
- Co-ordinate all finance input and review on development schemes performance to management, internal committees and boards
- Carry out quarterly reviews of the financial plan, including re-running key stress tests.
- Report on stress test performance and mitigations to the Group Board semi-annually
- Lead on business modelling, analysis, and assessment for potential schemes and development opportunities.
Qualifications/experience required
Qualified Accountant,
Housing experience
- Knowledge and use of Brixx & Argus modelling software
- Experience of modelling the financial impacts of stress scenarios on the financial statements under FRS102 for 30-year plans
- Financial Analyst/Management Accounting background
- Knowledge of development schemes appraisal and investment appraisal techniques.
- Knowledge of Accounting Standards for Housing Associations (FRS102).
