Job Details
CIPFA-Penna are working in partnership with a home-counties local authority organisation to recruit an Accountant / Finance Business Partner for a short-term interim contract (approx. 3 months).
Working closely with the Head of Finance for the authority, your role will primarily focus on providing business partner support and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the authority on the financial implications of key projects, budget management issues and strategic planning & development. Additionally, you’ll provide technical advice to members and Directors.
The role will require you to be a qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with solid exposure to management accounts, budget setting & management and experience of effective finance business-partnering – all gained in another local authority organisation. You will also need to be available to start a role straight away.
