Due to a restructure of the Finance and Business Support Team and the promotion of internal staff, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic finance professional to complete our team of finance business partners.

You will be proactive in providing comprehensive support and advice including budget planning, forecasting, year-end closedown and project support.

You will have abilities in finance business partnering, excellent IT competences, strong communication skills and a track record in delivering a customer focused service.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, solution focused, willing to learn and challenge, confident in their skills, self-starting with the ability to make complex information clear and understandable and who will positively embrace and influence change. You will thrive on variety and adding value.

The role will report directly to the Business Support Team Leader but will be expected to make a significant contribution to delivering the Council’s financial processes across the whole Finance Team.
