Interim Financial Consultant

We have a new interim position for a Financial Consultant to provide assurance to a local authority client on Collection Fund accounting, in particular NNDR and appeals.

The role will involve working with the council’s chief accountant who will prepare the majority of the collection fund accounts. A Consultant will be needed to review the appeals provision and provide overall expertise, advice and assurance in relation ensuring the NNDR portion of the accounts are solid and compliant with recent changes to legislation in this area. Additionally, the council require this expertise to inform their strategy and forward business plan for the next financial year.
