About the role
Our Accounts Receivable is a dedicated team with a large appetite for continual collection improvement. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team to help maximise the daily income collection and enforcement process to both Councils through effective, responsive processing activity.

This will include the billing, collection and recovery of sundry debt, Adult Social Care, BIDS/CIL and Housing Benefit Overpayments in line with legislation. Reporting to the Senior Accounts Receivable officer, you will be responsible for handling your own caseload from start to finish in relation to debt recovery. 

The focus on this role is to collect outstanding debtor accounts, including Social Care debt, to encourage debtors to settle or enter payment plans. You will also be required to communicate with necessary parties with a view settling the debt and be confident in dealing with complex issues that may arise. These roles will mainly be based at the Guildhall, Royal Borough of Kingston upon thames.

About you
To be considered for this opportunity you must be at least a Maths and English GCSE or equivalent and have experience working in a Credit Control or Finance environment. You will be required to monitor caseloads, produce reports and provide performance updates to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
