Interim Finance Business Partner (Adult Social Care)

CIPFA-Penna are proud to be supporting this large council in the Midlands region in their recruitment of a Finance Business Partner to support its Adult Social Care directorate. This role will be recruited on an interim basis.

Working closely with the Head of Finance for Adult Social Care and providing business-partnering support, shrewd insight and constructive challenge to senior staff in this directorate, this role will play a vital part in helping the service deliver challenging savings targets as well as ambitious service delivery targets. This will involve undertaking reviews of existing budgeting and reporting arrangements, development of improved financial and operational processes and providing shrewd financial and commercial advice to an array of service improvement initiatives and transformation programmes.

We are looking for qualified accountants (CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with demonstrable experience of delivering high-quality financial management, support and reporting in the Adult Social Care service of another local authority. You’ll be practiced at business case development and options appraisal techniques and have a business-partnering mindset.
