The Government Internal Audit Agency are an Executive Agency of HM Treasury and a specialist provider of internal audit and counter fraud and investigation services to central government.  We are looking to recruit from a variety of backgrounds which will improve GIAA’s experience and skills base as the vacancies we have cover a diverse mix of roles across various locations and government departments, from the Ministry of Justice through to the Department of Health, including Executive Agencies and Independent bodies. 

The successful postholder will own the responsibility for the Internal Audit service to the Accounting Office for the Department of International Trade, implement an Internal Audit Plan; delivering plans to time, budget and quality standards to support year-end assurances and other agreed stakeholder requirements.

As a senior member of the leadership team of the Government Internal Audit Agency, you will lead and inspire a team, of professional auditors to deliver the highest quality service to one of our most significant customers. You will work collaboratively with the wider internal audit community to enhance the service across Whitehall and will be confident to support the CEO in building the capability to the internal audit function to deliver a strong, value-added service to all clients.
