Finance Manager, AccountingTransaction Services Manager
A London based Housing Association, focused on providing care and support to people in the local community and sustaining the capitals rich diversity are currently recruiting a number of senior finance professionals following a restructure. Following the appointment of a new Finance Director they are looking for support to modernise the organisation, help achieve their ambitious development programme, as well as helping develop a best in class service ensuring they are innovative in everything they do.
The Transaction Services Manager will ensure the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations, delivering an efficient and customer focussed service. The role will lead, develop and motivate the transactions team, and be a figurehead for financial excellence.
- Manage an efficient and customer-focused transaction service covering the financial operations of the Group, including sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, petty cash, credit cards and banking
- Ensure the cash position is maximised by operating timely billing and payments, liaising with suppliers, customers and the wider business as necessary
- Instil a target-driven culture across the transaction team, focusing on output and efficiency alongside compliance and control
- Build a culture of continual improvement within the transaction team, measuring and monitoring performance and taking responsibility for the overall quality of output of the team.
To be suitable for the role you need to be a motivated and driven manager with proven experience of running a high-performing transactions team, with the ability to drive through change and improve the performance of a team.
