This is a great opportunity to join one of the largest hospital trusts in the country as a Finance Manager. The trust currently has a turnover of over £1 billion, almost 1,000,000 patient contacts per year and collaborates with one of the world’s leading research-led universities. Your role will be to co-ordinate the workload and set objectives and priorities for your area.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • In conjunction with the Senior Finance Manager you will take the financial lead on developing Directorate business plans and presenting these to Trust Executive Directors. You will need to identify opportunities for financial efficiencies and high-lighting areas of risk and ensuring there are closely monitored.
  • Presenting financial management information and advising at Performance and Executive reviews.
  • Providing and presenting complex financial management information and advising senior Directorate staff and Trust Executives, and ensuring the development of robust financial forecasts.
  • Supporting the implementation and development of the Financial Management service level agreement with its customers and actively supporting the compliance framework to ensure customers’ needs are met.
