I am currently looking to recruit a Management and Planning Accountant (Tax Relief) for a Museum in London for a period 3-4 months.

You will be assisting with the production of financial, statistical and qualitative information to senior management and funding bodies, writing new reports and procedures, reporting systems development and providing active and supportive technical advice on financial issues to wider budget holders.

A key priority of this role will be to assist in the preparation of information and documentation for submitting tax returns in relation to Museums Tax Relief.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Holding regular meetings with designated budget holders for monitoring budgets and cash flow forecasting.
  • Maintaining budgets and monitoring cash flow throughout the year, providing regular updates and incorporating changes as they become known.
  • Annual published accounts
  • Returns to funding and other bodies and ensuring that returns are completed accurately and on time.
