The Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) – Head of Finance 

Salary: £60,000- £65,000 plus attractive benefits

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Finance is responsible for delivering all aspects of the Finance function across the organisation as well as providing advice and support to operational teams, business leaders and the Executive. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading on all management accounting and reporting, including the development of relevant and informative management reports, budgets, forecasts and commentaries to senior managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of financial and tax reporting, including the management and improvement of financial controls, process and procedures and financial systems administration.
  • Managing third party relationships such as banks, investments, HMRC, auditor and system support.
  • Providing leadership and direction to the finance team to ensure high quality delivery in line with best practice.



The ACT is looking for qualified accountant, who will enjoy the challenge of delivering and developing the finance function within a small complex business. You will need to be a confident communicator, with exceptional influencing skills and a proactive approach. Proven experience of providing comprehensive day to day financial management and reporting is key, as well as the ability to see the bigger picture and drive change through system and process improvements.
