It is an exciting time to be joining the GIAA as it continues to grow and develop. Established just over 3 years ago, and now providing services to 14 main departments, Elizabeth Honer has recently been appointed as CEO and intends to drive the quality and impact of our insights to help achieve better outcomes for their customers across Government.
As Group Chief Internal Auditor for DWP you will be working with our largest and most complex customer, assisting the Permanent Secretary and others to support the relationships with external bodies, securing agreement to strategic, risk based plans and delivering to time, budget and quality standards. You will also play a key part in the management of the Agency by supporting the CEO in building capability of the Internal Audit function.
We are looking for strong corporate and team leadership experience alongside a successful track record of building relationships and influencing a diverse stakeholder community. We would also encourage applications from those with experience of developing and delivering high quality, strategic risk-based Internal Audit programmes in large or complex organisations.
