Interim Finance Business Partner
CIPFA-Penna are working in partnership with a local authority organisation in Staffordshire to recruit a Finance Business Partner for an interim contract (approx. 6months).
Fulfilling a newly-created role and working closely with the Finance Director & Section 151 Officer for the authority, your role will primarily focus on supporting him in implementing a more ‘business-partnering’ mentality and way of working across the authority’s budget holder community. It will mean working efficiently and closely with non-finance managers to help them meet their objectives and understand their budgets better, providing guidance and advice on all business and finance matters and building long-lasting bridges between the finance team and the operations of the organisation.
The role will require you to be a qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with solid exposure to management accounts, budget setting & management and experience of effective finance business-partnering – all gained in another local authority organisation. You will also need to be available to start a role straight away and be prepared to fully commit for the duration of the contract (6 months).
To register your interest in this opportunity please email your CV to Jonathon Sheppard at CIPFA-Penna – firstname.lastname@example.org.
