Financial Strategy Manager – Part time.
This organisations ambition is to add value and to inspire success; this vacancy will play a lead role in realising this overall ambition. This role will be working directly with The Head of Finance for Financial Strategy & Reporting. You will be given full responsibility to shape and mould the financial strategy function as you deem necessary during this exciting period of change. There will be direct line management of three full time employees. On offer is an opportunity to expand on your business partnering abilities whilst being given exposure to a booming organisation during a time or rapid growth.
Duties to include:
Responsibility for annual statement of accounts across the organisation
Control and coordination of the organisations medium term financial plan
Detailing the budget setting process
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Acting as finance lead on corporate transformation projects
The successful applicant will be CCAB qualified with a minimum of two years experience in a similar environment. You must have detailed, demonstrable knowledge of budget setting within a local authority. MTFP experience is highly desirable but not essential. You must be able to demonstrate ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Essential to your success is previous management experience.
