The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. The Head of Financial Management sits within the Customer and Corporate Services directorate, headed by the CQC’s Chief Operating Officer, and reports directly to the Director of Finance, Commercial and Infrastructure. With experience in robust financial planning, the role holder will be expected to develop and implement a financial strategy ensuring financial resources are managed efficiently and effectively and provide leadership across the organisation to ensure value for money.

Candidates should have an accountancy qualification and a proven track record in a senior finance role. Skilled in the management of complex stakeholder relationships, candidates will be outstanding communicators, with the clear ability to inspire, motivate and develop exceptional teams, delivering quality driven, people focused services.
