Accounting and Finance Intern (Several Positions)

DTF is looking to fill a full time, fixed term, VPS 2.1.1 role as an Accounting and Finance Intern.

The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) has a limited number of Accounting and Finance internship positions available across the department over the 2018-19 summer break. The program is an opportunity for highly motivated final year (in 2019) university students interested in a future career with the Department to gain first-hand experience in the application of accounting and finance principles in a public policy environment. Placements will be in a number of teams within the Department on a full-time basis for up to 12 weeks.

We strive for excellence in financial and economic management to improve the lives of all Victorians. We value our people and motivate them to lead, influence, collaborate and innovate.

These positions offer a unique opportunity to build experience and skills in financial policy analysis and development. Successful applicants will work on a broad range of tasks, including developing financial advice, research, analysis and writing.

Interns who successfully complete the internship program are strongly encouraged to apply for the Victorian Public Service (VPS) GRADS Program following the completion of the intern program.
