Accountant - Local Government
Allen Lane are pleased to be working with a Local Authority to recruit an Accountant with strong reconciliations and system skills.
The initial remit will be to complete a backlog of bank and payroll reconciliations. Following that, the successful candidate will work across the organisation to make sure that reconciliations are being correctly processed and offer advice and improvements to other service areas, for example parking and building control.
The successful candidate will be CCAB qualified with previous experience of working with complex data and exposure to controls and compliance environments. Local government experience is highly desirable but similar large public sector organisations would also be applicable.
