Three openings are available for a Senior Finance Technician; two in our School Finance Team and one in our Adult Care Finance Team.

About the role:

You will primarily be responsible for providing advice, help and support to individual schools and/or budget holders on a range of financial matters including budget setting, budget monitoring, closure of accounts and year end support, compliance with financial policy and statutory returns.

Also, as a member of the wider Financial Strategy team you may also be required to provide support for the specialist areas of treasury management, VAT, and the use of the Council's general ledger (BW-On).

If the idea of providing excellent financial support to budget holders and managers appeals to you, and you have the statistical and financial skills detailed in the job description then this would be a great opportunity.

If you have a keen attention to detail and are able to work on your own initiative then we would love to hear from you.

About us:

We offer a comprehensive benefits package which offers valuable discounts, salary-sacrifice schemes and areas of professional support and development.

The interviews for this post are anticipated to take place on 14/08/2018; however this may be subject to change.
