Finance Business Partner
An exciting new temporary position has arisen for an experienced Finance Business Partner to lend support and advice to the finance department of a charity while it goes through a period of reorganisation.
This role will be focused on strengthening the finance business partnering team, delivering financial guidance and decision support, in addition to assessing commercial opportunities, business cases and service developments. As a result, you will be the key liaison point within finance for the operational management teams, so will be likely to spend a good deal of time in a client facing capacity. While intimate understanding of the monthly figures is important, supporting and guiding the team to deliver the reporting and advice to their business areas will be the focus of the role in the short term.
You should be a qualified accountant, or equivalent, with substantial post qualification experience of financial management in a complex environment. Commercial acumen around business cases, financial modelling skills and the ability to add a new dimension to the financial management function will be important. In the context of a changing structure, systems awareness and abilities will be very helpful. First rate communication skills are essential as you’ll need to rapidly develop effective working relationships across the organisation, sometimes with people at different locations.
This role offers the opportunity to help develop the service delivered by a team in a changing environment and will offer an engaging challenge to the right candidate.
