Head of Procurement
The Gloucestershire NHS Procurement Shared Service is a partnership between Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and ²gether NHS Foundation Trust, hosted by Gloucestershire Hospitals. It provides Procurement services to three organisations - Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, ²gether NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucestershire Care Services.
The Head of Procurement is a high profile, intrinsic positon responsible for developing a Procurement team that will become renowned for providing a service that exceeds expectations and championing and delivering innovations that will support the delivery of the Trusts’ overall strategy.
As a talented Procurement Professional, with inherent senior management experience, you will intuitively empower the team and impart specialist knowledge that will foster an ingenious and commercial culture.
Sophisticated communication skills are essential; enabling you to influence and build key relationships with key stakeholders to accelerate procurement strategies, and cultivate collaborative partnerships to maximise opportunities that will harness purchasing power and deliver sustainable CIPs.
You must have the ability to work at pace in a challenging and complex environment whilst remaining focussed on priorities.
