Clinical Procurement Manager
The Gloucestershire NHS Procurement Shared Service is a partnership between Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and ²gether NHS Foundation Trust, hosted by Gloucestershire Hospitals. It provides Procurement services to three organisations - Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, ²gether NHS Foundation Trust and Gloucestershire Care Services.
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for designated clinical procurement categories; this will involve the delivery of the annual work plans, achievement of targets, and participate in complex, contractual arrangements.
To development an effective operational team you will be fully conversant in total life costing, complex purchasing techniques, including procurement legislation, and as such be able to impart commercial advice and guidance.
A proven track record in procurement will be complimented by strong influencing skills and the perceptibility to steer negotiations and develop tactics that will strengthen stakeholder relations and deliver continuous improvements and cost improvement.
This role will support CPD, and will be based within an organisation committed to developing an inspirational culture in which procurement talent will flourish and succeed.
