Senior Project Manager
An exciting new opportunity has arisen at a Central Government department for an experienced Project Manager to play a vital role in the team which will deliver the changes arising as a consequence of the UK leaving the EU.
This role will focus on the collective impacts of a portfolio of EU exit projects in terms of the changes necessary to revise external customer facing guidance and internal facing operational instructions. As a result it will involve work across a number of projects to identify the scope and scale of the combined impacts for staff and this will involve working collaboratively with a number of teams to develop a feasible approach and overarching plan. To do this, the role will include collation, analysis and interpretation of the collective requirements across the portfolio and understand the impacts on the various central repositories of knowledge and information. Additionally, you will monitoring and tracking progress of the work-stream to communicate this effectively with the wider programme and stakeholders.
You should be an experienced project manager, with a background in managing projects within complex organisations to reform information and documentation systems or where major overhauls of documentation, information, content, guidance and instructions formed a critical element of projects/programmes. You will need to demonstrate a strong record of project delivery with a quality service and exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills. Owing to the range of contacts involved, first rate communication skills will also be important along with the ability to rapidly build effective working relationships.
